In this voice call, Aima Baig can be heard having an objectionable conversation with filmmaker Qais Ahmed.

On the other hand, this scandal of Aima Baig has become a topic of discussion on Twitter, the names of Aima Baig, Shahbaz Shagri and Qais Ahmed are currently trending on Twitter in Pakistan.

On social media, users are criticizing Aima Baig, while the sentiments of Qais Ahmed and Shahbaz Shagri are being made fun of.

Qais Ahmed and singer Aima Baig have not yet denied or confirmed these allegations.

It should be noted that famous singer Aima Baig had shared a confirmation note on her social media account on the rumors of breaking the engagement with Shahbaz Shagri.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan receives honorary degree from Oxford University

One of the leading Sufi singers in the country, Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan who is the nephew of the late (and still legendary) Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, is presently in the United Kingdom where he has received an honorary degree from Oxford University. The ceremony took place yesterday and the singer was presented with the degree of Doctor of Music, as announced by the university previously.

Prior to receiving the degree, RFAK said, “I am honoured to be accepting this degree from Oxford University, a world famous educational institution. This will be a very special day for not just me and my family but also for my fans who have shared this journey with me. To be presented with this honour is a massive achievement and I am happy that my music has allowed me to reach such incredible heights.”

RFAK will be performing at the Oxford Town Hall today (June 27) and the evening will feature qawwalis by the legend himself. The money generated through this performance will be used to enhance the Faculty of Music’s Sounds of South Asia series.

Oxford University has previously recognised the work of Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan by naming one of their prestigious music halls after the maestro. He carries the torch for a family (gharana), which has a rich cultural history and a heritage which includes over 600 years in Sufi and Qawwali music folklore.

The most popular 'Chai Wala' of Pakistan, Arshad Khan won instant fame a couple of weeks back when he was discovered by a photographer at a Sunday Bazar. It appeared that after the initial thrust he had gone into oblivion and there was nothing more to his celebrity status.

But the spark of Arshad Khan reignited as he walked the ramp at the Bridal Couture Week on the final day. And in the process showcased a UK based menswear brand, Ziggi.

The brand highlighted their grooms wear under the label "the modern Maharaja". Through his appearance, this cute looking chaiwala created quite a stir. The applause he got was heartwarming.

The initial discovery of Arshad Khan for his association with chai selling now finds him embedded in the fashion world. Already he has won a modelling contract with retail site fitin.pk and his products have been shown in a morning show.
